Munich is the third largest city in Germany. The city of Munich in southern Germany is especially known for their rich cultural traditions, the architecture of the region and the annual Oktoberfest. Nontheless the region is also an important and ever-growing economic and financial location. Munich is one of the most important tourism destinations in Germany. The city has a varied architecture with many historic buildings. Landmark of the city are especially the Frauenkirche with its two towers and the town hall. In the "Hofbräuhaus" beer is brewed and served according to ancient tradition.
